Upper Eastside Penthouse

Architect: Guillermo Gomez Architect

Combination of two duplex penthouse apartments to create a magnificent two story penthouse atop a large Upper East Side building with a central grand stair, and floor to ceiling steel and glass windows and doors, four balconies and a large terrace and private elevator that had many challenges, but the result was beautifully executed.

Beside the custom made wood burning fire places, old French country wood beams relocated to the kitchen ceiling, we had to attach all the exterior windows and doors on the interior framing rather than exterior masonry, since the building decided to change the exterior envelop amidst our construction. The finishes had to be of the highest standard, in architectural metal and wood work, in stone and tile setting, the Venetian plaster and painting, we delivered the finest.
